This is an overall view of the space station flight control room (FCR-1) in JSC's Mission Control Center during the launch of Expedition 40/41 crew members -- Flight Engineer Reid Wiseman of NASA, Soyuz Commander Maxim Suraev of the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) and Flight Engineer Alexander Gerst of the European Space Agency -- to the space station in a Soyuz spacecraft from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. Multiple screens at the front of the control room display external views of the launch and internal views of the Soyuz.
