Mimicking the pose taken years ago by a cosmonaut for the statue known as "The Fisherman" that stands at the entrance to the city of Baikonur, Kazakhstan, Expedition 40/41 Flight Engineer Alexander Gerst of the European Space Agency , Soyuz Commander Maxim Suraev of the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) and Flight Engineer Reid Wiseman of NASA pose for pictures May 21 at the Cosmonaut Hotel crew quarters in Baikonur as part of their traditional pre-launch training ceremonies. The pose of "The Fisherman" is also the predominant theme of the crew's Soyuz crew patch. Wiseman, Suraev and Gerst will launch on May 29, Kazakh time, on the Soyuz TMA-13M spacecraft from the Baikonur Cosmodrome for a 5 ½ month mission on the International Space Station.
