Backdropped by a blanket of clouds, an unpiloted Progress supply vehicle approaches the International Space Station (ISS). The Progress 17 resupply craft launched at 1:09 p.m. (CST) on February 28, 2005 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan to deliver two tons of supplies, food, water, fuel and equipment to the Expedition 10 crewmembers onboard the Station. Progress docked to the aft port of the Zvezda Service Module at 2:10 p.m. (CST) on March 2 as the Station flew 225 statute miles over the equator west of Africa.
