Behind Wilmore is backup crew member Scott Kelly, who will launch in March 2015 with Mikhail Kornienko to spend a full year on the International Space Station. Wilmore, Serova and Samokutyaev are scheduled to launch from the Baikonur Cosmodrome Sept. 26, Kazakh time, in the Soyuz TMA-14M spacecraft for a 5 ½ month mission on the orbital complex. Serova will become the fourth Russian woman to fly in space and the first Russian woman to live and work on the station.
