NASA astronaut Terry Virts, Commander of Expedition 43 aboard the International Space Station, dons eye protection from the sun while working in Cupola, the station's 360 degree viewing platform. The Cupola contains the primary control station for the station's robotic arm, Canadarm2, which the crew use to capture visiting spacecraft like SpaceX's Dragon and Orbital ATK's Cygnus. The specialized windows also provide one of the best vantage points on station for Earth study and photography.
