Following arrival at the Shuttle Landing Facility operated by Space Florida at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, an Orion crew module pressure vessel is off loaded from the agency’s Super Guppy aircraft. The spacecraft, designated for NASA’s Exploration Mission-1 (EM-1), was flown in from the Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans. Carefully sealed in its packing container, Orion will be transported to the Neil Armstrong Operations and Checkout Building high bay. The spacecraft will launch atop NASA’s Space Launch System rocket on EM-1, an unpiloted test flight, in 2018
