NASA’s Super Guppy aircraft, carrying the Orion crew module pressure vessel for NASA’s Exploration Mission-1 (EM-1), has arrived at the Shuttle Landing Facility operated by Space Florida at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The unique aircraft begins to open to reveal the container holding the crew module. The crew module was transported from the Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans. It will be offloaded and readied for transport to the Neil Armstrong Operations and Checkout Building high bay for processing. The Orion spacecraft will launch atop NASA’s Space Launch System rocket on EM-1, an uncrewed test flight, in 2018
